CON-CLU-SION
Well , basically , our main objectives in having a research on animal abuse is our sensitiveness towards animal such as cats , dogs , dolphins , etc. being abused by some of those animal-heart people . Don't they have any awareness or sympathy at the animals that doesn't know anything on this earth besides than living peacefully without any problem ?
People intend to bully or making jokes on animals - they actually were thinking that those animals doesn't have feelings , actually they DO have feelings . They were also like human , who have feelings to feel sad , happy , angry , etc.
People just act don't care about those animals , even bullying them , in a worse way such as beat them , kicking , hanging , drowning , and even torturing them with the worst act ever ! Don't they feel sorry for those animals ?!
Practically , animal abuse were also actually helps people to gather around and spread the awareness of animal abuse in our society . By doing this , they can actually spread love and care feelings toward the animals at a time so that animal abuse problem can be solve easily . More and more people get aware with animal abuse issues and they can start loving animal like they love other human being too . :)
In fact , what our hope is , people will gather together to cure the problems of animal abuse so that animal that exists in this world will not be extinct and will be seen by future generations . Moreover , people will start to take a good care of abandon animals and send them to the animal shelter . At least , there is always a home for them . Awareness campaign is not that much to help without our concerns about animals abuse that have been always be the world issue .
"I care not much for a man's religion whose dog and cat are not the better for it ." - Abraham Lincoln
INTERVIEW
Well , basically our group has made a survey poll just to have peoples view about animal abuse . And from the research and overview , we were actually glad that many people have joined our survey . And the result as below :
Above are the ratios of people who took our survey poll . :)
SOLUTIONs ?
There is always an answer in any consequences that exists . No question will get no answer . So , in order to solve animal abuse problem , we should gather and get information to solve the problems .
It’s important that children are taught from an early age to show respect and compassion for animals. If their parents never talk about animals, never give them books on the subject, or teach by example, how are children to know any better? Those that are not given this valuable lesson may go on to join the millions of trophy hunters, people who, when they see beautiful wild animals, can think only to kill them. They may even continue the cruelty, which has been well documented to be a prelude to domestic violence. It’s very important to nip those impulses in the bud. It’s pretty likely that rodeo “cowboys”, bullfighters, those that slaughter animals, and others who make a living doing terrible things to animals, were never taught this lesson.
Here are some solutions that can help to solve the issues of animal abuse . (:
- Harsher punishment for offenders.
Or more importantly, something needs to be done about people getting dogs and cats in the first place. There needs to be a way to disallow inept, irresponsible, and abusive people from ever getting an animal. Obviously, our present system does not address this, as people are allowed to buy, use, and abuse animals as they please. I think the first step towards a progressive stance in pet ownership is to make a legal distinction between pet and property. With that distinction made, I think we could build a better system for animal welfare.
- Teach your children well.

- Sound environmental policies by governments.
Nations need to stop worrying about killing off wildlife to help ranchers, and concentrate on saving what natural areas they have left. If they would stop subsidizing the raising of meat animals, they could us the money saved to protect natural resources.
- Set up a brown-bag lecture series at your office, conducted by a humane agency, and learn about pet care, basic behavior solutions, and animal welfare issues.
- Get pet care and behavior pamphlets from your humane agency to distribute to any of your coworkers and friends with new pets.
- Put together packets of treats and a pet-care book or video to give to friends who've just gotten a new pet. Include spay/neuter information, tags, and a vaccination record book. Obedience lessons make a great gift for a new puppy too!
- Support any initiative to strengthen your state's anti-cruelty laws.
- Write to your local newspaper and TV station whenever animal cruelty stories appear. Tell them you support strong penalties for these abusers.
- Contribute to or volunteer at your local shelter, where they must deal with these appalling situations regularly.

Law in MIDDLE EAST , EUROPE & AMERICA
MIDDLE EAST
EGYPT
Egyptian law states that anyone who inhumanely beats or intentionally kills any domesticated animal may be jailed or fined , however , these laws are rarely enforced. The Egyptian Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was established by the British over a hundred years ago, and is currently administered by the Egyptians. The SPCA was instrumental in promoting a 1997 ban on bullfighting in Egypt.

In the ancient Egyptian law, the killers of cats or dogs were executed .
SAUDI ARABIA
Veterinarian Lana Dunn and several Saudi nationals report that there are no laws to protect animals from cruelty since the term is not well-defined within the Saudi legal system. They point to a lack of a governing body to supervise conditions for animals, particularly in pet stores and in the exotic animal trade with East Africa.
EUROPE
GERMANY
In Germany, killing animals or causing significant pain (or prolonged or repeated pain) to them is punishable by imprisonment of up to three years or a financial penalty. If the animal is of foreign origin, the act may also be punishable as criminal damage.
ITALY
Acts of cruelty against animals can be punished with imprisonment, for a minimum of three months up to a maximum of three years, and with a fine ranging from a minimum of 3.000,00 Euro to a maximum of 160.000,00 Euro, as for the law n°189/2004. The law was passed mainly to crush the phenomenon of dog fighting, which in Italy is a clandestine blood sport fully controlled by organized crime.
AMERICA
UNITED STATES
The primary federal law relating to animal care and conditions in the US is the Animal Welfare Act of 1966, amended in 1970, 1976, 1985, 1990, 2002 and 2007. It is the only Federal law in the United States that regulates the treatment of animals in research, exhibition, transport, and by dealers. Other laws, policies, and guidelines may include additional species coverage or specifications for animal care and use, but all refer to the Animal Welfare Act as the minimum acceptable standard.
The AWA has been criticized by animal rights groups for excluding birds, rats and mice bred for research, and animals raised for food or fiber as well as all cold-blooded animals.
The Animal Legal Defense Fund releases an annual report ranking the animal protection laws of every state based on their relative strength and general comprehensiveness. In 2010's report, the top five states for their strong anti-cruelty laws were Illinois, Maine, Michigan, Oregon, and California. The five states with the weakest animal cruelty laws were Kentucky, North Dakota, Idaho, Mississippi, and Iowa.
In Massachusetts and New York, agents of humane societies and associations may be appointed as special officers to enforce statutes outlawing animal cruelty.
In 2004, a Florida legislator proposed a ban on "cruelty to bovines," stating: "A person who, for the purpose of practice, entertainment, or sport, intentionally fells, trips, or otherwise causes a cow to fall or lose its balance by means of roping, lassoing, dragging, or otherwise touching the tail of the cow commits a misdemeanor of the first degree." The proposal did not become law.
In the United States, ear cropping, tail docking, the Geier Hitch, rodeo sports, and other acts are legal and sometimes condoned. Penalties for cruelty can be minimal, if pursued. Currently, 46 of the 50 states have enacted felony penalties for certain forms of animal abuse. However, in most jurisdictions, animal cruelty is most commonly charged as a misdemeanor offense. In one recent California case, a felony conviction for animal cruelty could theoretically net a 25 year to life sentence due to their three-strikes law, which increases sentences based on prior felony convictions.
Law in AUSTRALIA & ASIA
Many jurisdictions around the world have enacted statutes which forbid cruelty to some animals but these vary by country and in some cases by the use or practice .
AUSTRALIA
In Australia , many states have enacted legislation outlawing cruelty to animals , however , it is argued that welfare laws do not adequately extend to production animals . Whilst police maintain an overall jurisdiction in
prosecution of criminal matters , in many states officers of the RSPCA and other animal welfare charities are accorded authority to investigate and prosecute animal cruelty offenses .

ASIA
JAPAN
Animal experiments are regulated by the 2000 Law for the Humane Treatment and Management of Animals , which was amended in 2006 . This law requires those using animals to follow the principles outlined in the 3Rs and use as few animals as possible , and cause minimal distress and suffering . Regulation is at a local level based on national guidelines , but there are no governmental inspections of institutions and no reporting requirement for the numbers of animals used .

CHINA
As of 2006 there were no laws in China governing acts of cruelty to animals . In certain jurisdictions such as Fuzhou, dog control officers may kill any unaccompanied dogs on sight. However, the People's Republic of China is currently in the process of making changes to its stray-dog population laws in the capital city , Beijing. Mr. Zheng Gang who is the director of the Internal and Judicial Committee which comes under the Beijing Municipal People's Congress (BMPC), supports the new draft of the Beijing Municipal Regulation on Dogs from the local government. This new law is due to replace the current Beijing Municipal Regulation on Dog Ownership , introduced in 1889. The current regulation talks of "strictly" limiting dog ownership and controlling the number of dogs in the city. The new draft focuses instead on "strict management and combining restrictions with management." There are no government supported charitable organizations like the RSPCA, which monitors the cases on animal cruelty, so that all kinds of animal abuses, such as to fish, tigers, and bears, are to be reported for law enforcement and animal welfare.
In September 2009, legislation was drafted to address deliberate cruelty to animals in China. If passed, the legislation would offer some protection to pets, captive wildlife and animals used in laboratories, as well as regulating how farm animals are raised, transported and slaughtered.

Animal Abuse
Cruelty to animals or animal abuse is the infliction of suffering or harm upon non-human animals , for purposes other than self-defense . More narrowly , it can be harm for specific gain , such as killing animals for food or for their fur . Diverging viewpoints are held by jurisdictions throughout the world .
Many jurisdictions around the world have enacted statutes which forbid cruelty to some animals but these vary by country and in some cases by the use or practice .
Most people do not have the heart of insanity because the animals are often punished on the basis of satisfaction . For example , they beat and torture the animal because of the water usage they have wasted . Pets such as dog were also became the victim especially when they bark at people surrounds them . Some times , they would kill the animal till death just to satisfy their needs .
Broadly speaking , there are two approaches to the issue . The animal welfare position holds that there is nothing inherently wrong with using animals for human purposes , such as food , clothing , entertainment , and research , but that is should be done in a humane way that minimizes unnecessary pain and suffering . Animal rights theorists criticize this position , arguing that the words "unnecessary" and "humane" are subject to widely differing interpretations , and that the only way to ensure protection for animals is to end their status as property , and to ensure that they are never used as commodities . Laws concerning animal cruelty are designed to prevent needless cruelty to animals , rather than killing for other aims such as food , or they concern species not eaten as food in the country involved , such as those regarded as pets .
